If “green entertaining” sounds like gathering around the brown rice and wheat-grass juice, think again. Today’s eco-friendly events can be as hip as they are good for the Earth.

At Triangle Catering conscientious entertaining is nothing new. We’ve been doing our part for years–from recycling post-party waste to featuring local ingredients to offering great reusable décor items (see rentals for more!).

At Events:
We design our seasonal menus around locally available food, supporting regional farmers and reducing energy usage. We also partner with florists who use locally grown flowers and plants. In addition, we have incorporated new green products into our events, from reusable china and glassware to eco-disposables made from corn and sugar cane to chic Euro-style plastic wear for reduced water usage during summer droughts. And, when the party is over, the responsible entertaining continues. We recycle our post-party waste and work with the Interfaith Food Shuttle to repurpose leftover food for the area’s needy.

In Office:
Unless otherwise requested, clients receive electronic communications, reducing paper waste and streamlining information. And, of course, we follow the “reduce, reuse, recycle” rule in all of our office operations.
